Water Level Indicator with Motor Controller
We know that waste of water due to the overflow of water tanks in colleges, industries, homes and public water tanks. The water wastage can be avoided due to overflow by using a simple water level controller.
Scope of project
Developing a water level indicator and motor controller by using the logical gates and flip-flops. So that can control the wastage of water due to overflow.
Description
The water level indicator and motor controller is a very simple and good performance device, the principle of the device is based on digital logic gates and simple sensors. The device has two parts one is a water level indicator and another is a motor control unit.
The first part consists of the combination of NOT and AND gates, the output of the combinational logic circuit is given to the seven segments. The water sensors are connected to input of the combinational logic circuit. The common cathode seven segment is used when the output of circuit is high then the corresponding seven segment glows as ‘L’ for low level ‘H’ for half level and ‘F’ for full tank.
The second part consists of SR flip-flop and relay, the SR takes inputs from the first part of the device and the inputs S and R are tapped to high level point and low level point respectively. The output of the SR is connected to the relay, the relay intern controls the motor based on output of the SR flip-flop.
