Vehicle Ride Characterisation ( Suspension system)
Drivers expect more ride comfort and better performance, thus the vehicle ride comfort is important for OEM’s to gain the value in today’s market. To provide better ride quality in vehicle, the OEM’s are using advanced technology ride comfort control technologies (Active suspension system with different technologies).
Scope of project
In First part will see the advanced electronically controlled intelligent suspension system elements with different technology used and can use in future vehicles and marketing.
In Second part will see primary and secondary ride rate, ride performance of quarter car suspension system for Land Rover Ranger Rover vehicle. And analysis of suspension system by changing selected parameters and impact on system response. Finally will see the improvement suspension system with active element and its performance over passive system and benefits.
Description
The occupant comfort is verify important in vehicles thus to improve the comfort different ride comfort control systems are used in vehicles.
The suspension system decides the ride comfort of vehicle (selected Land Rover Range Rover vehicle for study). Will describes the set of vehicle parameters, ride analysis of vehicle, analysis of suspension system using MATLAB/Simulink by changing selected parameters and result justification how it impact ride performance. Finally discussion on active suspension system.
